Our newest campus at Sable Oaks in South Portland offers a high end facility near the Marriott and Sable Oaks Golf Club. Just minutes from downtown Portland it is off exit 46 on the Maine Turnpike near the Maine Mall and Portland Airport on a hill surrounded by woods, golf courses and a pond. The quality of the facility and the clientele associated with this location gives students experience working with the people that create the core of a successful practice.
Portland is a cultural center for the arts that is also a great location for anyone who loves the outdoors, good shopping and dining, or just a great base for exploring the beautiful coast, lakes or mountains of Maine and New Hampshire. With some of the best hiking, skiing, and water sports in the northeast, it lives up to its motto of "Maine, the way life should be."
Portland and the surrounding towns also have many options for the student who would like to relocate. With winter rentals in beach and lake cottages or hotels and many multi-family houses and apartments, there are many affordable and attractive places to stay. With an international airport and The Downeaster passenger train to Boston, it is also an easily accessible place to live.
The Therapeutic and Holistic Massage programs as well as the Polarity Therapy program use the curriculum developed by the Polarity Realization Institute Educational Development Company located in Massachusetts. All classes are taught by teachers trained by Nancy Risley, founder of the Polarity Realization Institute and author of RYSE, Tools for Life. This affiliation gives Headhunter, Spa Tech Institute™ well developed massage and holistic studies programs that are taught by experienced staff.
